In The News FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, November 22, 2005 Louis Wren, MAI, SRA, Broker receives 30-year outstanding achievement award from the Appraisal Institute Davenport, Iowa – Louis C. Wren, MAI, SRA, Broker received a 30-year service award from the Appraisal Institute this past week in recognition of his service at the association’s national, regional and local levels. He joins fellow Quad City colleagues Robert J. Baecke, SRA; Edmond C. Fisher, MAI, SRA; and Doug C. Nelson, MAI, SRA, as recipients of the 30-year recognition award. Wren served on the Appraisal Institute regional committee as a representative for the Iowa Chapter between 1990-98. He also served on the chapter Board of Directors between 2002-03. In addition, Wren was President of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers Chapter 109 in 1976-77, and President of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers Iowa Chapter #34 in 1986-87. Both the Society of Real Estate Appraisers and the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers are now part of the Appraisal Institute. Speaking to the dedication shown by Wren, John W. Ross, Appraisal Institute CEO, shared, “Let me also thank him personally for his support for and dedication to the Appraisal Institute.” Wren, who is currently the principle and senior partner of Wren Appraisal, L.C., achieved his SRA designation in 1974 and his MAI designation in 1978.
